Rating Forming Part of an Engineering Watch

To equip individuals with the skills knowledges and attitudes to perform tasks that are expected of an Engineering Watch

• Carry out a watch routine appropriate to the duties of a rating forming part of an engine room watch
• Understand orders and be understood in matter relevant to watch keeping duties
• Operate emergency equipment and apply emergency procedures

• Must be 18 years or older
• Certificate of medical fitness
• Basic safety and security awareness certificate
• Discharge book / six (6) months sea service
